Graduated in Social Sciences by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1975), a Master's degree in Administration by the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (1993) and a Ph.D. in Management Sciences by the National Autonomous University of Mexico (2005). From 2005 to 2018, she was Director of the Technology Transfer Office (ETT) at the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul. Currently she is a Technology Transfer Advisor and Professor of the Business School, both at the same University. She has experience in Administration, with emphasis on Technology Transfer, on the following topics: university-industry interaction, technology management, technology transfer offices and intellectual property management. In the period 2006-2010 she was President of the National Innovation and Technology Transfer Association - FORTEC, position for which she was elected for two consecutive terms. Since 2011, she has been at the Board of Directors of ANPEI (National Association of Innovative Enterprises), as representative of research institutions. She has been a consultant for World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) for more than 10 years, having acted as a speaker in several events promoted by this organization in Brazil, Latin America and Africa.
