Thininut Srichan obtained her bachelor degree in medical technology from Chulalongkorn University in 1993 and master degree in business administration from Thammasat University in 2000. She started her career as a medical technologist right after her first degree graduation, then moved to laboratory diagnostic business and medical device focus on in-vitro diagnostics products while she was pursuing her second degree in business. She joined the private sector support team at National Science and Technology Development Agency (NSTDA), Thailand in 2002, started with Thailand Science Park operation team with key functions in business development and key account management. It was her first start in technology transfer, after that, she joined intellectual property business team at technology licensing office under Technology management center, NSTDA. Her major role was to commercialize technology from NSTDA research laboratories and NSTDA funded agencies mainly in medical/healthcare technology for several years. Currently, she is the division director of Biotechnology business development at National Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (BIOTEC), a research center under umbrella of NSTDA.
